Art and jazz is a perfect combination. Our committee is reaching out, again this year, to invite local visual artists and craftsmen to showcase their talent. Our goal is to promote professional and emerging artists throughout the Toledo-area and NW Ohio/SE Michigan region, by helping develop an art buying and art appreciating community.

If your art is inspired by jazz and/or if you feel that your creative work will connect with jazz-lovers, please join us.
Please submit the online application below and upload samples of your work.

For more information, please email glajfestival@gmail.com
and/or call Cheryl at 419-913-6416.

Create A Scholarship Fund To Buy Musical Instruments
& Provide Music/Art Lessons To Toledo-Area Children

Who will the next Picasso or Miles Davis be? This year, we are very proud to announce the start of the Great Lakes Arts & Jazz Festival scholarship fund. A portion of the proceeds from our fundraisers and festival will buy music instruments and art/music lessons for Toledo-area children. This year’s scholarship recipients will be the “Littles” of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio, who have expressed a passion for music and the arts.
